Meet Sondra Gerber, metal sculptor and owner of Blue Pomegranate Gallery.
Sondra plays with positive and negative shapes within her intricately cut aluminum sculptures, so that they cast beautiful shadows. Carefully planned out patterns and textures are ground into the surface of the aluminum to reflect light, giving the appearance of movement. She adds color to select works with the use of metal dyes and fused glass. Gerber’s work can be found in over 100 galleries across the U.S. but reserves many of her one-of-a-kind and limited edition pieces for Blue Pom.
