Jewelry - Edo Mor

Edo Mor was born in Ramat Ha'Sharon in Israel and moved to the US at the age of nine. Rosario Torres is from Argentina. Edo met Rosario while backpacking in Spain. They now live in Massachusetts.

The technique behind this couple's work is a complex process of painting the glass with enamel oxides, layering with metal inclusion such as copper and mica, and fusing the glass in a kiln. The majority of their enamels are “home-made,” mixed with a porcelain mortar and pestle. Preparing their own colors grants them greater control over hue, opacity, and texture.
